An Intermec customer for more than five years, ZF Lemförder recently relocated its Duncan, S.C. plant to Newton, N.C. As part of its move, the plant decided to upgrade its warehouse management system, making it an ideal time to upgrade from its legacy Intermec hardware to further optimize operations. ZF Lemförder turned to Intermec partner Regan Incorporated to implement the Intermec CK31 mobile computer equipped with the EX25 near-far area imager and the PM4i printer.
"In our new plant, we installed the warehouse management version of SAP and needed the advanced hardware that could provide us with real-time scanning and increased functionality to further streamline our warehouse operations," said Marge Seibeck, IT manager, ZF Lemförder. "We decided to continue our partnership with Regan and Intermec because of the rugged hardware and excellent support that has always been provided."
