Scanco Radio Frequency Solution For Macola

Macola now has on-line transactions processing for people who want to take advantage of the "real time" nature of Macola. Scanco's RF system gives you that same on-line / real-time processing for your data collected via handheld terminals.

The Software:
The software includes five major components:

• Inventory
  Cycle and tag counts, Issues, Transfers, Receipts, Support for lot & serial items, Multiple bin functions, Multiple unit of measure on all IM transactions, and Non-tag physical counts on binned items.
• Shipping
  On-line, real-time validation of: Item numbers, Under and Over-shipments, Serial Numbers, Automatic selection of items to invoice, Automatically relieves lot & serial, Multiple warehouses per line, Multiple bin functions, and Locator information for faster picking.
• Receiving
  Can receive both lot & serialized items, Flags over and under shipments, May use barcoded receiver or be paperless, and Put-aways in multiple bins.
• Printing
  Capable of printing PO and inventory receipt labels from the handheld to virtually any printer
• Locator
  Finds the location of items in the warehouse on the fly
• Shop Floor Control
  Enter Shop Floor Control transactions through the RF system.

Hardware:
Scanco's Radio Frequency Solution for Macola will support most any TCP/IP equipped RF terminal. Thus allowing those with a hardware preference outside of what Scanco offers as the total solution to have that option.
