Opticon: OPN 2001

The OPN 2001 is one of Opticon's smallest barcode scanners, measuring just 1.2"x2.5", and weighing only an ounce. Designed for mobility, this pocket memory scanner makes barcode data collection simple for anyone. It can be worn around the neck as a lanyard making data collection fast with Opticon's 100/scan per second laser.

Using this scanner is straightforward with its two button function. Scan a barcode with the large button and it will be stored automatically. If you make a mistake, the smaller button allows you to re-scan the barcode in order to remove the item from the memory. It features a 512 kB flashROM memory, enough to accommodate over 10,000 scans with timestamps.

Once finished scanning, the OPN 2001 has a standard USB port which allows easy data transfer to a host device. The USB port is also used to charge the internal Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery.
