The low-cost OPL 7836 is a light-weight laser scanner with an ergonomic pistol-grip handle that scans aggressively and reliably. Using a new line of high performance scan engines designed and developed by Opto Electronics, the OPL 7836 is the first in a series of handheld laser scanners to be introduced by Opticon over the next year.
The OPL 7836, weighing just 3.5 ounces and withstanding drops of 5 feet, follows the Opticon product tradition for its "extreme high quality." With an auto-sensing (auto-trigger) option, this tough but comfortable 100 scans/second scanner is perfect for retail environments.
The OPL 7836 is available in black and can be special ordered in white. Three configurations are available: USB (HID), RS232 and Keyboard Wedge. The device has a 2-year warranty.
