GAO RFID Inc.recommends its active RFID asset tagdesigned with multiple outstanding features. This RFID asset tag can be deployed equally well on metallic and non metallic assets.

This rugged active RFID asset tag, model 124017, features a compact size, light weight, optional motion sensor and anti-tamper alert. It operates at a transmitting frequency of 433.92 MHz. It is equipped with an omni directional antenna allowing it to be read from all directions. The tag continuously transmits a unique ID number to a compatible reader. Its tamper alarm function provides instant notification of unauthorized attempts to remove the tag from an asset.

This high performance active RFID asset tag provides various preset transmission intervals so as to enable diverse applications. Its collision avoidance algorithm reduces loss of data caused by simultaneous transmissions from multiple tags. This tag is also able to be configured to hold standard 26 bit Wiegand numbering. It provides a wide transmitting distance from 1 meter to 100 meters which is determined by the reader and antenna used to detect the tag. In addition, it is powered by an internal battery and utilizes an ultra-low power consumption design to ensure a longer battery life at higher rates of transmission than most active RFID tags.

This active RFID asset tag belongs to GAO’s family of 433 MHz Active RFID Tags. This line also includes 433 MHz Rack Temperature RFID Tag which monitors temperature sensitive assets in IT racks with an accuracy of 1.2 °C to enable easy mapping of data center temperature profiles and air flow optimization, 433 MHz. RFID Domino Tag which is generally used for asset tagging and 433 MHZ. RFID Key Fob Tag which can be used in applications where door/safe keys need to be tracked as well as personnel tracking and vehicle immobilizing / driver identification applications where it replaces the Wavetrend personnel tag.
