DSI's dcLINK® Automated Data Collection Solution Achieves Motorola SymbolPLUS Validation
Data Systems International (DSI) recently announced that its dcLINK automated data collection solution and dcLINK MOBILEApps mobile applications successfully achieved SymbolPLUS validation by completing Motorola's Solution Validation Program, which includes joint testing at the Motorola Solution Center in Holtsville, New York.
dcLINK and dcLINK MOBILEApps were granted the SymbolPLUS Validated Software logo through Motorola's Solutions Validation Program. This designation helps assure customers and partners of system interoperability between Motorola devices and DSI solutions.
DSI's dcLINK automated data collection solution is the most comprehensive solution available for accurately tracking inventory, assets, and time using bar code, RFID, voice, and mobile applications with seamless integration to leading enterprise applications.
Extending the data collection solution into the field, dcLINK MOBILEApps enables field sales and service workers to make sales, complete service orders, manage mobile inventory, and expedite deliveries using the most accurate data available.
"By achieving Motorola SymbolPLUS validation for dcLINK and dcLINK MOBILEApps, DSI again demonstrates our dedication to providing clients with powerful, validated data collection solutions that meet their business process needs, wherever they conduct business. We are pleased that through our relationship with Motorola, we can offer our clients a complete, validated mobile computing solution for their field sales and services operations," said Matt McGraw, President, DSI.
Motorola's Solutions Validation Program enables partners to test and validate their mobility solutions on Motorola products to help ensure interoperability and meet the customer application-specific needs, and to reduce both the risk level and the time to deployment for the customer. Working closely with engineering teams, dcLINK and dcLINK MOBILEApps were tested and co-validated on select products, including the MC70, MC9090, VC5090, and WT4090 mobile computers. The terms of the validation, including disclaimers, are set forth in the Test Agreement between Motorola and DSI, and in the validation report.
