Bar Code Software: New Unibar Web Site Expands Bar Code Software Options
Unibar Inc. recently went live with a new version of its Web site, www.unibar.com, which makes it easy to take advantage of Unibar's products and services for creating barcodes and radio frequency identification (RFID) tags on labels, forms, documents, tickets and coupons. The new site is easier for customers, visitors and partners to navigate and access free downloads and demo versions of Unibar software.
The site highlights the complete range of Unibar products and services. Unibar is widely recognized as the leader in UNIX- and Linux-based bar code output, but also provides many other innovative bar code and RFID printing solutions. For example, the e-BARZ PRO service allows users to dynamically create and add bar codes to forms, tickets and coupons, and print them without purchasing or installing specialized software or printers. Hundreds of companies use BARCODE 2000 to design and print bar code labels, and can use it to RFID-enable their labels by simply adding a command. With Unibar's X-BARZ product, end users and software developments can add bar code output capability to any Microsoft Windows application. Other solutions enable bar code output from Oracle enterprise applications and any software that supports XML.
"The new unibar.com is an example of how we're committed to creating the resources and innovation to make our products and services more flexible and easy to use," said Unibar President Ted Kruse. "Customers consistently tell us our products are reliable, easy to use, and low maintenance. To improve the customer experience, we're making products, services and information more accessible."
The new Web site is the most visible example Unibar's growth and expansion. In recent months the company has:
- added staff;
- increased technical support & customer service;
- accelerated product development;
- increased marketing activity;
- launched its first Web-based software subscription service, e-BARZ PRO Service;
- added many new customers, and;
- expanded international distribution.
Several more new product and upgrades will be released throughout the year.
