Brother’s PT-18R Label Maker is convenient, rechargeable and easy to use. You can use it as a standalone handheld label maker for onsite labeling work. It can also be connected to a PC via USB for use with specialized labeling products. To recharge the batteries for your next site visit, just place the label maker in the cradle that’s provided.

You can preview your labels on the 2 line x 15 char LCD. It has a QWERTY keyboard and provides single-key access to templates and symbols. The easily swappable tape cassettes are available in tape widths ranging from 6 mm to 18 mm. The label maker’s software supports 4 font types and a variety of font styles. You can print a maximum of 5 lines. While vertical and mirror printing are supported in both standalone and PC connected modes, to use the rotate printing feature, you need to be connected to the PC.

The software supports many barcode printing formats. However, to use formats such as ISBN, Laser Bar Code and PDF417 you need to be connected to a PC. The automatic tape cutter ensures that your labels are neatly cut without any ragged edges.
