Integrated RFID Reader Provides Dense Reader Mode

GAO RFID Inc. has announced the release of its integrated RFID reader which provides a long read range and high read rate. It is commonly used in applications such as at warehouse dock doors, on forklifts, parking lot gates, outdoor patrolling vehicles, highway toll stations, livestock tracking and container ports.

This long range integrated RFID reader, model 216012, can be used both indoors and outdoors. It has a dense reader mode and offers reliable performance when used in dense reader environments. This integrated RFID reader is available in a variety of frequencies for use globally and is compliant with ISO18000-6C and EPC UHF Class 1 Gen 2 standards.

The reader provides a best read zone control and provides a read range of 9 m to 13 m with compatible transponders. It features Ethernet connectivity and power though 12 volt DC supply or PoE. Additionally, its durable design enables it to withstand harsh environments and to work reliably under a wide temperature range of -20 °C to 60 °C.

This high performance integrated RFID reader belongs to GAO’s family of 900 MHz UHF RFID Readers. This line also includes All-in-One Long Range UHF Gen2 Reader/Writer which is designed for industrial environments and is compatible with both EPC Class1 Gen1 and Gen2 Protocols, 902 MHz RFID Gen 2 UTE Portable Reader Writer which is a dual RFID and barcode reader that features the very latest technology to optimize data collection capabilities now and in the future and Durable Indoor/Outdoor UHF RFID Reader which utilizes a local personal computer (not included) to provide command and control via its RS-232 serial interface.
