IntelliDOT Makes "100 Best Places To Work In Healthcare" List
IntelliDOT Corporation, a leading provider of wireless handheld, barcode point-of-care (BPOC) solutions to hospitals, recently announced that the company has been included in the "100 Best Places To Work in Healthcare" listing compiled by Modern Healthcare magazine.
The publication announced a new program in January to recognize workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers with the best possible care and services. To determine those workplaces, Modern Healthcare entered into a partnership with the Best Companies Group, a Harrisburg, Pa.-based firm that conducts regional "best places to work" programs across the country. On behalf of Modern Healthcare, the Best Companies Group conducted two surveys of healthcare companies that volunteered to participate in the program. The first survey was a questionnaire for a participating employer detailing company policies, practices, benefits and demographics. The second was a satisfaction survey of a participating employer's employees covering leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction, working environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits, and overall satisfaction. Some 238 healthcare companies participated.
"From the outset, we have tried to create a rewarding place to work and a culture of innovation where original thinking and exemplary customer service are paramount," said Shawn Orr, Vice President, Field Operations, IntelliDOT. "As one of the few vendors and only barcode point-of-care provider on the listing, we are delighted to be included."
Modern Healthcare will reveal the ranking of the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare, from 1 to 100, in a special supplement to be published on October 27. The supplement also will recognize the top places to work by industry segment and by number of employees and will profile some of the recipients.
