Brazilian Cold Storage Company Efficiently And Effectively Reaches Its Production Goals

Today, Standard Logística can be considered the pioneer and largest provider of cold storage intermodal logistics solutions, providing complete refrigeration/freezing, storage, and distribution services throughout the South, Southeast, and Central-West regions of Brazil.

Standard Logística currently comprises nine intermodal terminals and six storage units, with a facility of approximately 66,000 m² and about one thousand employees.

"All together, the terminals move an average of 3,000 containers per month, totalling more than 75,000 tons per month."

For years, as the demand for Standard Logística's services increased, the previous storage control technology was not capable of functioning properly at temperatures from -25°C to -30°C. The previous model used by the company frequently caused technical difficulties, which required moving the machines to another sector for maintenance or for software updates. These factors directly influenced the company's production and accuracy. Since most of its stored products are dairy, there is a need for more frequent turnover because dairy products' shelf life is shorter than that of other products.
