Identification presented at a border crossing would be scanned by Mobilisa's handheld device. The ID would be checked by DEFENSE ID databases of "Persons of Interest" by law enforcement and for fraudulent identification documents against numerous formats issued by U.S. states and potentially Canadian provinces. Any driver's license or identification card would be validated directly with the issuing agency via Mobilisa's wireless and web services technology, checking the foundation documents for the most secure identify verification.
