Mobile, Wireless, RFID Solutions: DataMAX Announces — Oracle Validation Of RFgen JD Edwards Integration Suite

The DataMAX Software Group, Inc., a leader in Automated Data Collection Software Development Systems with over 2,000 installations worldwide, has announced the ‘Validation' of the RFgen JD Edwards Integration Software Suite® by the Oracle Applications Partner Integration Team.

RFgen provides on-line, off-line, and mobile/wireless/RFID application development capabilities for data collection. The Software provides multiple pre-built open source transactions for manufacturing and distribution modules and provides real time wireless or mobile connectivity to conduct transactions in the JD Edwards Environment. The open source transactions work as JD Edwards program functions. Each open source transaction is defined with the necessary data and validations required for processing. When the transaction is submitted for processing, the RFgen Server calls the appropriate JD Edwards business function(s) for execution.

RFgen is an n-tiered, client-server system based upon OLEDB and Windows APIs. Development of JD Edwards enabled applications is accomplished through the use of a system that embeds the business function rules directly into the data collection process. The RFgen server will communicate with any telnet capable device across a WAN and provide JD Edwards functionality on that device. When required, RFgen will communicate with the JD Edwards underlying database for inquiry purposes only. When a transaction is ready for processing, the data and business functions are submitted to JD Edwards in a real-time or queued scenario. In a real-time instance, the user will wait for feedback from JD Edwards, otherwise the RFgen server will process the queued data when possible and the user immediately moves on to the next transaction without feedback.

With RFgen, users of JD Edwards finally have a low cost/validated alternative to meet their data collection requirements. Users can take complete ownership of their data collection solution to discover, manage, and integrate data collection technology quickly with pre-built ‘open source' transactions, and the Total Knowledge Transferã program exclusive to RFgen. No longer are organizations forced into ‘budget busting' data collections solutions, there is an alternative with RFgen.

DataMAX, with its' RFgen Family Of Products, "RFgen Enterprise Server, RFgen Xpress Server, RFgen Legacy Screen Mapping, RFgen Integration Suite for SAP solutions, and RFgen Integration Suite for JD Edwards" continues to be a leading "data collection rapid application development software" supplier Worldwide.
