RF IDeas Launches Three New Card Reader Products At ASIS Security Conference
RF IDeas, Inc. has introduced three new card readers with more compact form factors to its portfolio of larger secure card readers. RF IDeas launched its pcSwipe(TM) magnetic stripe, pcProx PCMCIA and USB thumb-drive card readers this week during the annual ASIS International security conference in Anaheim, CA.
"We have incorporated the same quality features of our existing card readers into these smaller formats," said RF IDeas CEO Richard Landuyt. "The advantage to the end-user for the PCMCIA and USB card readers is portability for a variety of card reading needs. We are providing more power to the cards and badges that employees use every day," said Landuyt.
The new pcSwipe intelligent magnetic stripe card reader is an efficient solution for customers wanting to leverage their existing base of magnetic stripe card-carrying personnel. The reader is compatible with the billions of magnetic stripe cards circulated worldwide and has been designed to meet the identification and security needs of customers in many different environments and industries.
"With the addition of these new card readers to its portfolio, RF IDeas provides our customers with additional cost-effective options for integrating secure applications to these innovative card reader form factors," said Dan Miller, RFID Program Manager at BlueStar, the leading innovator in solutions-based distribution for RFID, Auto ID, POS, and Mobility products. "RF IDeas is the fastest growing product line within our RFID Group," said Miller.
