The Socket Bluetooth® Cordless Hand Scanner™ (CHS) Series 7 is a lightweight, pocket-sized barcode scanner that fits a diverse set of application requirements in a range of industries including healthcare, hospitality, retail and field service.

With the introduction of this product line, Socket now offers both 1D and 2D barcode scanners for the Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, giving customers a wide range of performance capabilities and prices.

Availability
The Socket CHS Series 7 with support for both Human Interface Device (HID) and Serial Port Profile (SPP) Bluetooth profiles will be available to order August 1, 2010. There are three performance versions available with shipment beginning September 1, 2010 for the entry level version and November 2010 for the higher performance models. MSRP starts at $395 and €353. iForm, Zerion's mobile application for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch is available on the Apple App Store for free. Zerion offers a 30-day free trial on the iFormBuilder platform.
