It is Class 1, Gen 1, and has an industry leading read range of 7m in open space with up to 11m read range in an indoor, confined area. That is a lot of real estate to cover with a handheld device! Along with it’s amazing read range it also boasts a read rate of 150 tags per second and allows you to get a fast and effective read of inventory on shelves, in vehicles, on pallets and basically anywhere else you need it, all in a convenient, rugged and drop tested handheld device that is easy to use and easy to manipulate.
Its rugged design has been drop tested with 1.5m drops to all six sides with no issue whatsoever reported. It is also great for mobile computing as it has all the features needed including Wi-Fi, USB RS232 connectivity, an SD card slot for external memory, a 3.5inch touch screen, a QWERTY keyboard, and a Samsung processor which makes your life that much easier with an all in one approach. Continuing on that idea, this model also features a trigger button on the handle and bar code scanning capabilities, and the user’s choice of linear or horizontally polarized antenna, depending on your needs.
The Handheld UHF RFID Reader 246006 comes with country specific versions for frequency bands, and can read banks and any size of tag. It weighs only 1.2kg and has dimensions of 197mm x 122mm x 223mm. The barcode scanner is 1D and 2D rated with all standards available and with an operating temperature of -20C to 50C you can use it just about anywhere anytime. Its output is an impressive 3.5” transmissive LCD boasting 320 x 240 pixels with LEDx2. It has an up to 2GByte SD card, and a Samsung processor 400 MHz, with 128 MByte Flash and 64 MByte RAM.
This handheld offers wireless network transfer, database manipulation, tag authentication, and can read and write a tag, take tag inventory, do tag search and ranging, tag association, tag commissioning and barcode scanning.
