UHF Gen 2 RFID Reader Ideal For Supply Chain

Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking has announced the availability of an ultra high frequency (UHF) Gen 2 RFID reader , the Alien-9900, which is ideal for manufacturing and asset management in the supply chain. This UHF Gen 2 RFID reader is compliant with EPC Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6c standards and can be easily integrated with RFID software. It is interoperable with a majority of RFID platforms, such as Microsoft BizTalk RFID, IBM WebSphere, Oat Systems, and Oracle.

This Gen 2 RFID reader, GAO's model 216007, features enhanced interference rejection, monostatic antenna connections, a small footprint and a high read rate. One of the key features of this reader is its Autonomous Mode function which allows automated operation based on external triggers, timing or software inputs. It works efficiently without device interference in the frequency range from 902.75MHz to 927.5MHz. This reader prevents data loss by saving RFID tag information in its non-volatile memory, which preserves data even in the event of power failure. Additionally, its enhanced noise rejection technology ensures reliable data capture even in noisy environments.
