Using Datamax Printers In An SAP Environment

Using proprietary language based thermal bar code printers to print system output labels was one of the issues needing to be addressed by SAP for the automatic identification and data collection (AIDC industry).

SAP client sites have three methods by which they can print labels using SAP system and data and a Datamax thermal printer:

• Write a custom program
• Use PC-based label printing software
• Upload Method (UM)
