Validation System: RSI ID Technologies Launches Next-Generation Transponder Validation System (TVS)
New Pressiza® TVS-2500R Lowers Cost and Manual Labor Through Automated, High Output Testing and Replacement of Defective RFID Tags
RSI ID Technologies (RSI), a manufacturer and systems integrator of RFID, data collection and product marking solutions, announced the launch of its Pressiza® TVS-2500R, a fully automated transponder validation system which features a high output pick-and-replace mechanism for failed tags. This newest addition to RSI's Pressiza® line offers a dramatic improvement over the current automated testing process of RFID transponders embedded in lightweight, flexible substrates. By encoding, validating and replacing defective tags in a single, automated process, the Pressiza® TVS- 2500R significantly lowers costs, accelerates operations, and minimizes tag damage by eliminating the manual, labor-intensive method of replacing tags currently employed by many manufacturers.
The Pressiza® TVS-2500R is the third TVS product created in RSI's Pressiza® line of testing and validation equipment and builds significantly on industry standards. "The Pressiza® has been one of the best asset purchases that we have made for our RFID division in the past 5 years of being involved in the RFID industry," remarked Mark Davenport, President of Mid South Graphics of the TVS 1000R.
The Pressiza® TVS-2500R is a fully automated, stand alone RFID tester/encoder which tests, encodes, removes and replaces tags in one seamless process. Equipped with a PLC and Flexolution® RFID TVS software, the Pressiza® TVS-2500R ensures quick and accurate reads with repeats as small as one inch. The pick-and-replace feature removes failed tags and replaces them with pre-verified tags with an accuracy of 1/32 of an inch.
RSI continues to raise the bar by developing innovative RFID testing equipment to meet the evolving needs of its customers and partners. The Pressiza® TVS-2500R ensures the fastest, most accurate RFID transponder verification possible – testing, encoding and replacing 140 tags per minute, and producing complete rolls of 100% fully validated tags. The product is an excellent tool for RFID label converters to increase the quality and yield of their RFID tags.
"RSI is committed to driving widespread adoption of next-generation RFID technology by continually raising quality standards through higher yield rates and operational efficiencies," said Wolf Bielas, CEO and Co-Founder of RSI. "With this breakthrough product, our customers can more efficiently and accurately test tags, reducing labor requirements and lowering costs."
The Pressiza® TVS-2500R is in full production and is available immediately. For more information call 800-466-8247.
